Documenting a Humble KCK Home

If you’ve never been to the West Heights neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas, it’s worth the drive. Get out and walk the neighborhoods, you’ll be taken away by the old, eclectic, funky charm. A friend of mine listed a house in the neighborhood for one of his acquaintances and I was asked to document the home for a memoir book. What a fun project! The house was used as a foster home and had special meaning to the seller. Shot for Joseph Lalli.

Hawaiian Bros - Lee's Summit

Another Hawaiian Bros has opened in Lee’s Summit, Missouri! This location’s overall look and feel will be a sort of standard for their future expansions, based off some brief conversations while on site. HBros has become immensely popular locally, drawing crowds and lines on a regular bases. The crowds were a challenge to work around, so shooting early was the best bet. Even arriving earlier than the staff and working around the food delivery trucks were a part of the challenge. The morning golden light made for some great exteriors. Timing is key when shooting hospitality! Shot for Clockwork AD.

Shooting a Parade of Homes Winner

Recent winner of two awards (first place distinctive design, gold winner pick of the parade), B.L. Rieke’s Savannah plan had it all. During my initial client walkthrough, I knew I wanted to arrive early enough to get the lanai + gold course view in perfect light. See how the sun is behind the beam? Yep, that was planned! We shot a handful of wider shots as well as plenty of details to tie the gallery together. Shot for B.L. Rieke Custom Home Builders.
